Opening of the conference 'Child in the City'

Monday, September 29th

Crown Princess Mary attended the official opening of the conference Child in the City at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense.

It was on occasion of the conference Child in the City that Crown Princess Mary visited the University of Southern Denmark in Odense. Before officially opening the conference, she inaugurated a new children's playground. Arriving to the University of Southern Denmark Mary was warmly welcomed by a flower girl and four ballerina dancers. All five were so sweet. Mary couldn't hold a wide smile back. Everywhere she walked plenty of people tried to get her attention and it worked. She was everywhere. Receiving flowers, greetings, paintings, handshakes etc. I was a wonderful day and Mary was in a splendid mood. Wish I had been there to feel the atmosphere myself. She is present in a very special way.

Mary was dressed in a mix of new and reused clothes when she attended opening of both the new playground and conference in Odense. She wore a new creamy white blouse featuring lace on front and long sleeves. It has been identified Rosemunde Copenhagen. Over, we have a black reused blazer which is from Helmut Lang. What makes this a bit more special that others, is the leather trim. Smashing detail! The blazer was matched by a pair of The black capri trousers, that could be Elise Gug. The beautiful white pearl earrings are from the Marianne Dulong such as the rather large pearl ring. As the great owner of Tesouras & Tiaras made me aware of a the pink bracelet which is quite popular among Danish children. This was given to her as a gift from one of the children. Last, but not least we have her Christian Louboutin pumps, making a great statement along with the minimalistic outfit. Still, her smile is the absolute best part.
